Do you realistically expect the UPS pilots to strike in any event in today's airline environment ?
It makes no difference what management decides to do...their behavior is rather predictable. The question is whether the pilots would actually walk...not just beat their chests and threaten to walk. In today's world, I bet management would be willing to call that bluff.
