The procedures may be recommendations and nothing more -- but I would suspect this might be true only until something happens and the lawyers get involved. My attitude is that its a heck of way to have to fly, but it sure beets the alternative; and if I really wanted to do things the way I wanted to do them, I'd go off and start my own operation (yeah, right!)
