I joined DHL with 1000 hours total time, but I had 800 on the B757 already in that total.
I joined near the beginning, rose to the top 10 of the FO list, but moved on as I could not see any future in 250 hours a year for my career.
I loved the job though. that said, it is even better as a Captain than an FO in a constant two man operation.......
Now back flying for a major charter carrier on a different type.....
DHL is a good job in a tough industry, but don't expect miracles.
