Carmen experiments are on going, it is a high powered rostering tool and has had some pretty odd positioning duties being spat out. Early days..... hopefully it can deliver pilots even more control over their rosters. We'll see.
Thomsonfly is a great company that is going balls to the wall. The mixed model of lowcost and IT is a great concept. We currently operate 40 aircraft to places such as Jersy and soon Sydney. I am not going to speculate about where we are in the pecking order but I am happy.
Its going to be a tough year of change but I'd rather be aggressive and innovative than do nothing. BALPA is a partner in this process, better in than out.
