Spannerman, good to have you aboard gracious sir, it will be a pleasure working with you again (I'm sure...!) - as for the "Ney-Sayers" ???. .. .It always takes good reason (and a lot of carefull consideration ) to leave a comfortable place of employment, where I'm sure we'll agree the pay/conditions are not so bad (or at least not as bad as previous experiences) to embark on a new and previously untried venture and try it out!. .. .I, like you will be hopeful that the new venture works out & am positive that it will, considering the calibre of engineer (the cream of the FLS line & Hangar) that it has attracted.. .. .Nay-sayers (that will remain unmentioned) & of whom ther are many of, ( & quite possibly great contributers to the interest in a new employer in the Airport) will continue I,m sure to remain the backbone of FLS and continue in their quest to mould the engineering section in their likeness...!. .. .As you quite rightly re-enphasised Mr Slave has most of his points quite incorrect or mis-quoted (to give him the benifit of doubt), which we both quite rightly attempted to re-educate him on, but he appears to be of a disposition which objects strongly to persons having a difference of opinion with him. Mr Slave, also from his own quote " you may be surprised to find who I am in relation to SAMS" is quite obvisouly a man of Great Importance, at least in his own happy place (but ironically has a very big axe to grind with the Ryan Lads) - should we wonder why ???. .. .JD must have neglected to call him for interview, what do you think ???. .. .Spannerman, I personally think this venture will be a winner for all the lads involved - personally happy with the character of all the lads coming from FLS, motivated, enthusiastic ,open-minded (makes a change from Ryan-bashing & Nay-sayers) & I think most of the licenced guys will do good in the new setup.. .. .It will be a challange at first I'm sure, but am encouraged by former collegues (of which great admiration was held + a certain admiration for the attitude & experience of the existing Ryan engineers) of whom we are about to co-work with.. .. .Slave, you will undoubtly be loosing quite a few good collegues (& dare I say friends??). .& your own position may come into question (but you will have us believe not !!). .And you also view yourself as a man of great asset to the dwindling giant, so I'm sure your position is safe & I'm also sure you'll join me in wishing all your former collegues the greatest of luck in their new employment.. .. .Wish you the best mate, just not for me & many more!!!. .
