I have been in civil aviation since 1972 and before that the RAF. I have heard the same things going back to those days about the ALAE. Nothing it seems has changed. I joined in the early days of the ALAE when the old certificate of maintenance was phased out. The same arguements went on, that I see now, about JARs. . .I retired from the business in 1997 and have pursued other interests, and all I can say is I am glad I did.. . . . <small>[ 23 March 2002, 22:22: Message edited by: rover2701 ]</small>
