Sadly not many engineers seem to live long after retiring. I heard that for pension calculations the RAF uses 55 as an average age. I think it is time that a detailed study into all the unhealthy aspects of the engineers life should be conducted. Maybe we could get a university interested.. .Not much point putting money into a pension either. It would cost a fraction to get a couple of good insurance policies for the wife and kids.. .. .My condolences to Ken's familly and friends.
