Limited go around and a curved approach. Interesting but really not that special. Little slope and as you say a longish sealed runway down at sea level. No go around or undershoot defines most one way hill strips, which in many cases have steep slopes, uneven and slippery grass or dirt surfaces and high altitude to boot.

Maybe surprising to the inexperienced or the usual airline pilot but I' afraid it doesn't rate as a difficult strip, merely a small airport with some restrictions. By the stds of many places its a nice one.

Still Tioman is a beautiful and interesting approach. Just was a little surprised by the "white knuckle" and "needed to change my shorts" comments!
