The situation sucks for all involved.
1) Company loses money and gets a bad reputation
2) Management is overworked, one hand trying to cover up, the other trying to frantically shift flights around (reschedule, grovel, whatever)
3) Pilots are working maximum hours and getting called on their off days to help rescue flights, but what's the incentive to do so? A letter of appreciation is it? Mass e-mailed by our SGMFO's secretary, he really knows how to make things personalised
