Well in a point in time where airlines are going "revisionist" and completely wiping their images off the board in favor of some (most of the time) absurd "passenger freindly" design, we can only be thankful that Monarch still sports yellow and darkish (indigo instead of black I am led to believe), and the 'spotty M'. . .. .Monarch have thus far been the only airline to realize that their customer base doesn't care if they have a bright orange or blue fuselage; all they really want is a company with a strong, established, and recognizable identity.. .. .So they still sport the spotty M that has been there for nearly 40 years, because they know people recognize it. . .. .A bit off topic but a theory of mine; as Airtours will insist on their own rediculous name change; would they not do better to keep the basics of the old scheme while adding the MyTravel logo at the front? Would save loads of money in repaints etc. A picture of what it would look like can be seen in This interim scheme.. .. .Anyway, ECAM et al, the new look does 'have class' while still retaining the basic elements that have brought them success (if a paint scheme can bring you success, that is). . .. . . .SFly
