Riker: the -700's are great. Its my first airline job (although I've worked for other airlines but not as flight crew) so its still early days for me. The -300's are ok, the problem being some are very old and show their age. I found the -300's actually nicer to hand fly. Love the -700 and glad I'll be flying it for a while yet but very much looking forward to the airbus.
crisidebrian: 5-2-5-4 has just been implemented. I'm actually on a random roster as I'm currently in my reserve month so I can't really comment from experience. Expect to work all 5 days. It has potentional to work out well i.e if last day of 'lates' is 'contactable' you end up with 4 on 5 off. I think this will happen on occasion.
Spanish base - seems to be more rumours in spain than in the uk. Who knows
I dont think they'd have a problem getting crews if it happened! I'd be off!
