Has ANYBODY down there in the union investigated the legalities/ramifications of new hires signing on, then refusing to appear for training? Probably not possible, due to the quasi-legal status of the job action being conducted...it worked for the folks at United in 1985....another win-win option, if it is indeed legally possible...the newhires get their jobs, and the union in turn protects those jobs when the newhires decline to appear for training until the dispute is resolved...
