Being there and having seen the wreck 30 minutes after it happened, makes you wonder about the official story. Firstly, the weather was cloudy with a base of about 10 000ft and a calm wind. So both runways were being used 17/35. You will notice that from the photo's that the wreck was lying just off to the right of 35.
The story we heard was that they were doing an approach on 17, did a go around and landed short on 35. Maybe fuel might be a factor in the accident (or lack thereof). But judge for yourselfs. Goto
