It is probably impossible to predict where the world is headed right now but cerainly the airline industry is in for a very, very rough ride. It was coming even before the events in NYC and WAS. The AOA could not see this and have steered themselves into a dead end along with the Members who were not ballsy enough to see it. Reminds me of the Pied Piper......
The ban meant nothing and who is recruiting at this time anyway. One thing is for sure if CX were, which they are not, to advertise in OZ I bet nearly everyone at AN would apply.. ban or no ban.
The current hurdle for the worlds airlines is insurance -or lack of - which could ground many who cannot get Government support. This may make the recent cuts seem like mmere chick feed. God I hope not but dont rely on the AOA to see sense.
Anyone seen the AOA President smile recently? I haven't! The 'Boys in Yellow' have shown their true colors! Bet there are few who wish they had gone where they have been!
