Phew, just back after two days away, saw the title of this thread, with 11 posts...and thought they might all be questions for me!!!!!!
I was thinking of the TV series when I picked my name, but I also liked the idea of being a whirly...bird.
I'm off to Washington DC for the WhirlyGirls 50th celebrations next month, so........would you like me to mention your calendar suggestion?
I'll let you know the response! Anyway, they're a really good organisation; they've just given me their international scholarship to spend on advanced training, which can't be bad; don't get given much in this game.
