ironbutt has shown himself to be wrt the various industrial disputes over the past 15 or so years. A scab is a loner, in aviation, as EVERY dispute has proven. A union is precisely that
ironbutt, a group of individuals with a common interest who agree to have all of their opinions presented as one, rather than a rabble - precisely the same way a company uses one or two "managers" to express the opinion of scores of under managers, advisors, consultants, etc.
