Five injured in crash landing

Entebbe, Uganda - A cargo plane contracted by Ethiopian Airlines and heading to Togo crash landed on Saturday at Uganda's Entebbe airport and five crew members were injured, airport officials said here.
"The cargo plane overshot the runway, but on the second attempt, it crash-landed," Ugandan airbase commander Major Moses Rwakitarate told reporters.
"The crew members sustained some slight injuries and one of them might have broken his arm," he added.
Ethiopian Airlines said in a statement released in Addis Ababa that the Ghana-registered plane, which was leased from Cargo Plus Aviation, crashed at it was landing to refuel in Uganda.
A staff member of Ethiopian Airlines in Kampala said the plane, which departed from Addis Ababa early on Saturday, was headed to the Togolese capital Lome.
"The plane is wrecked. (The incident) happened some time between 8am and 10am (05:00 and 07:00 GMT)," the official said.
The airline said the cause of the accident was being probed.
"Due to the excess demand Ethiopian Airlines is leasing more than five aircraft from different companies," the airline's statement explained.
