As for Jet2, they seem ok to work for speaking to the pilots that I know there. However, do you really feel the need to pay for your own type rating given the bouyancy of the job market at the moment? Jet2 have been struggling to get pilots recently as many who were offered jobs found employment with better carriers who pay for your training. The more people that say no to these schemes, the greater the pressure for the airlines to abandon them.
