STR and Galley Hag,

You have just made the most significant remarks and it is so refreshing to see on this site.

I couldn't agree more about the dismill payrise the cabin crew got over the 3 year period. It was truly heart breaking considering the huge pay rise "the management" gave themselves.

I mean that whole-heartidily...

Oz, I'm NOT going to discuss my position within the company due to QF C/C SOP's, but rest assured i'm looking at my shocking AISC card right now as i type this post. It's a shocker.

Look guy's, I understand the position and anxiety you feel. I feel that the cabin crew are under-rated and I know first hand how hard you/we all work. But, it's only a matter of time til such departments as ground crew and even techie's will be contract. I envisage it happening within the next ten year period. It is sad that unions are making deals with the companies "and they are" but I see so many people within the QF network who still have their heads buried in the sand and think that things will go back the way they were. They won't. I hope I didn't ruffle to many feathers but it seems there are alot of people with their noses out of joint and they don't seem to have a common or direct problem towards QF or what they are ticked off about. Instead they blame everything and anything just to be heared. I "can" understand that.

I guess what is most disappointing on this site is the slandering that always seems to rear its ugly head on such posts. I know I'm guitly of it too. Then again it's probably easy when you cannot associate a face or emotion to the one you are directing a post too.

Anyway guy's I hope things do pan out and look forward to seeing you in the sky soon. Take care, best wishes...Matt
