Well said. Don't ever forget that split duties were introduced in the early 90's purely as an exceptional event. Then management told us that split duties and intergrated patterns would free up G-Days.
Well, the fact's are that split duties are the norm, intergrated patterns only mean less crew and no extra G's.
The issue of 2 S/O's on an ULH flight will be just like the cases above. It WILL become the norm if WE let it. The "thin end of the wedge" seem's pretty fat right now!
