Stefair: I can see that it seems strange but turn it around ... The way that things are done in the UK is based on our cumulative history. Invasions by Romans and Vikings and resistance of invasions etc.
The Japanese way of doing things is based on
their history and culture. The French way of doings things is ... the French way of doing things. [shrugs shoulders]

Incidentally, in the early years of the New South Africa. SAA cadets were sent to Australia for training by Qantas. This meant that if they were told 'You are not good enough' it would not be a white Afrikaans speaking male that said the words.
