Dear fellow Ppruners....
Just needed an experianced ear to clarify a few points on the above mentioned subject, as I have got through the final interview and only have to do the ASIC check and medical, of which I am sure there will be no trouble.
My dilema is this. I am currently working for DJ as ground crew, and if by chance QF do decide to give me a start, i will obviously have to leave. I am concerned that if I do well at QF, and at the end of my term, my contract is not renewed, I will have given up any chance of getting back in to DJ, and as such giving up any further movement within the company.
My question is this... what is the likelyhood that my contract will be renewed at the end of the term?
I know a lot of the positions are being moved off shore, and while as a general rule I think it is pretty poor form, I have dual citizenship and it would be a good opportunity for me to live a dream and work overseas.
Can someone save this poor soul from anymore sleepless nights?
