The work was scheduled to start in April. The project has had a delay because of strict rules on drainage characteristics laid down by the Environment Agency. The work is now expected to start in June when we will finally see the closure of runways 27/09.
Other expansion and developments........
*Work is now well underway on the long stay carpark 6 and 7 to provide an additional 550 spaces.
*Jet2 will finally move its operation to the more spacious check-in Hall B which will facilitate additional services throughout the summer.
*Additional shops are to be added landside
...........and not to forget the new 'cash machine' airside!!
