I've flown for about 5 years or so doing both charter and scheduled and still enjoy flying. I do have my days when I moan but so does everyone in any type of job.
As Polly said, It's definately a lifestyle. I don't mind working weekends as I then get my days off in the week when shops are quieter. I don't enjoy getting up at 4am but I'm usually home by midday. I've made some fab friends, some of which are now working longhaul and get to go on their trips for next to nothing. I've seen most of Europe by way of nightstops. One of my fave cities is Copenhagen.
It's certainly not glamourous I've had some pretty awful days, been thrown up on once !!!

Had some great laughs with some great crew. Wouldn't do anything else. The thought of doing Mon-Fri 9 to 5 just doesn't appeal in the slightest.
