Anyone know if RW 27/09 is finally going to disappear this year ?
I believe the plan was for it to be concreted over to provide something like five extra stands this summer. May 1st is only a few weeks away and there's no sign of any activity so it could be that aircraft will be parking on its threshold overnight again. As Mr Metcom says, "Runway 27/09 is not available except as a taxiway..."
