Being crew must be one of the best jobs around. Over the past 5 and a half years I've met some great eternal friends and had fantastic times. Yes it does have its downfalls. However, I wouldn't do anyhting else.
Crew do moan but the majority do enjoy it really. Most of my peers are 9-5 and are always asking me about my job and telling me they would love to do it. Flying over the world, europe and UK isn't a job; It's a FAB lifestyle.
