Exrotary, I apologise if i cause undue worry.
In terms of location, with regard to its operation, Channels HQ IS in the wrong place.
For instance it has a large spares holding at BOH with aircraft at its two largest stations LBA & MAN, respectively,270 & 220 miles distant.EMA 180 & STN 150. The transport charges incurred are large also the lead time to position spares could cause loss of flights. Large numbers of personnel are constantly moving between BOH & points north. Courses & training costs at BOH are increased by accommodation costs & daily expenses.
PM has positioned us as "the norths favourite airline". This is obviously only conjecture on my part ,but i believe at some indeterminate point in the future it will happen.
Gimp , my personal unhappiness has its roots in the 'very' recent past & present.
Channels load factors & customer service do not impinge daily upon my consciousness but how i am treated as a person certainly does.
