This whole medical thing is a pain in the proverbials.
Answer me this if you can, and maybe it's been answered before but it'd take me days to find it, there is so much about this subject but.....
Why am I allowed an FAA First Class Medical and theoretically could land a 747 at Heathrow and yet haven't got a snowballs chance in hell of getting a JAA Class One.......why are FAA pilots not banned from flying here (regardless of the 'only N reg'ed aircraft thing)?
Is it a case of if I ever get a long-haul job in the future that I will not be allowed to fly into the JAA zone? And if not, then why am I not recognised as being able to do the job and be given a JAA Class One??????
