Coventry and East Midlans are non-NATS. But you may be lucky at Birmingham as I have seen work experience people at my previous unit. It all depends how much training is in progress at that unit.. .. .As to what you can expect, they will undoubtedly allow you to plug in with a headset and listen alongside a controller - but law dictates that you are not allowed to talk on the RT. They will also take you onto the airfield etc.. .. .Oddly, I did my work experience at Plymouth airport many years ago.
