Back in 1996 I applied to about eight airlines before I was successful. Got through to the final stage of Virgin and failed.Britannia, Airtours, Air 2000 etc....... the same outcome. I just looked on the letter for that big long word "unfortunately" to know it was not to be.
If you are determined and can draw experience from the knock backs that you get, then I believe you will achieve your goal. Preparation is key to a good interview.
