I know someone with Meniere's Disease and it's far worse than that! Normally the person is fine but can have an attack at random rendering them incapable of standing up due to imbalance and dizziness and bedridden for at least a couple of days!
Doesn't sound like that's what it is...
But as everyone else suggests, the best way is to see a GP
