And please don't forget the Dhs v's the ŁUK, EU, AUS$ etc. It only sounds good if you're in love with US$. Otherwise it's a BIG, BIG drop in pay in relative terms over the last few years (not to mention inflation at 9% +, 25-35% house rental increases etc).
