Hmm... I'd argue with that ....
I started off as an 11 month fixed term contractor in Long Haul which means no staff travel (but everything else is the same).
Whilst staff travel would have been ace - its the job I primarily enjoy - not the fringe benefits.
I'd take whatever they offer you - I'm being made permanent ongoing as of next month. Which isn't bad, considering "I would never ever be made permanent" 7 months ago when I started with Qantas....
