Congratulations, Dont worry about what others have to say....some people can't seem to hack things these days.
It's easy for them to talk now....but I'am sure if they were in the same situation as you (and they wanted to become a flight attendant) they would take any offer, regardless of the pay.
I would personally do it for free if I was offered the chance!
Anyway, why can't people just be nice???
