BTW, on the GFT, I was asked to stall over the top of a power station, at around 1,800 agl, so I think that the loser would have been me, if I had agreed
The examiner was certainly not a loser, but a very respected guy named Danny Wolfe, who you may have heard of, but who sadly passed away a little while ago.
He was a hell of a nice guy, but did expect students to be situationally aware and demonstrate appropriate judgement when tested.
