I am not sitting in judgement here, I am simply pointing out that selling via the internet, to someone you have no knowledge of, is not a great idea.
Yup, you are all correct that it is possible to get all manner of different uniforms already, and that genuine collectors wouldn't be a risk, but if the RAF are having trouble with kit going missing and then it being found for sale on e-bay (see threads on Mil Forum) perhaps we should take the issue a little more seriously.
You guys on here are obviously a different selection of prooners to those who constantly deride the security staff at airports for either over zealousness or for extreme laxity in performance. Selling uniform without any control simply increases the opportunity for a cock-up in the future.
