"I'm sorry you never got a job while on the short-list, but you had your chance and now it's ours."
No she didn't. If Cart Tart, like most of us who were on the ORIGINAL short list, had a chance, she would be employed now. Unfortunately, SARS and Iraq saw that end for all of us, in conjunction with a later push to secure bureaucratic goings on at QCCC.

"Qantas has spent lots of money on us because they think that we are worth it."
BZZZZZZZZZT - WRONG! They've spent money on you for THEIR sake, and no one elses. NEVER, I repeat...

NEVER for a MOMENT think that in this industry, and particularly in an airline that is as profit driven as Qantas, that YOU - either as individual employee or prospective candidate - are EVER a priority. The world has changed as has the industry (for the worse, in my opinion).

YOU WERE EMPLOYED FOR ONE SINGLE TASK - STRIKE BREAKING LABOUR. THAT is why as many were recruited, and as a result, many have failed to fly to this date.

"And to Galleyhag just like to let you know that we are priority, and I know that for a fact."
Oh really? Out of idle curiosity, what employment (apart from the 3 month stint in King Gees) has been offered to you? Don't tell me...Permanent Full Time perhaps? Cause surely if you WERE a priority, that's what Qantas would naturally give you, no?

"I wish all the fixed termers luck with their new positions, especially Midnight-63! First Class Paris, here you come!"
I too wish all the fixed termers luck in whatever comes their way. I'm sure they will get everything they deserve.

Att: Cart Tart. Hearing you babe. Oh, and don't worry about feeling bitter. There are many other individuals like you and me out there - some are even more bitter and angry than you about the way we were treated.[
