Not sure why a totally innocent posting about the Chillean P-3 piece on BBC news last night promted this tirade.
However I shall sleep better tonight knowing that aviate1138 fully understands the workings of the global climate, and that despite the clear evidence of warming across our continent, and the wider world, there is clearly nothing to worry about, since everything can be blamed on sunspots!
I shall equally look forward to the day, many years hence I hope, when I can look down from above and say "I told you so" when Florida has disappeared from the map because everyone, including Dubya, followed this learned advice and did b****r all about global warming, and sea levels continued to rise, because the ice sheets melted.
You can bury your head in the sand as far as you wish, but something is happening, and it's going to take brighter people than us to sort it out, before it's too late....
Perhaps this needs moving to the JB forum???
