It's far less about what you say, as the way that you say it.
Do you make eye contact with people in the room, or do you talk to the floor/ceiling/back wall. Do you vary your voive, or is it all in a boring monotone.
I'd like someome who is caring, but confident, who is approachable, who can deal with awkward/tired/anxious people - not just thinking about the next stop/home, for example.
