In Sweden they just have like 3 different tests in each subject so it's easier for them to exclude bad questions. In order to minimize the effect of questions floating around, FTOs need to test the student in the subject where a pass is mandatory in order to get endorsed for the CAA test. It's easy for the CAA, but involves alot of hassle for the individual student.
Had an appeal of a question where they came back to me saying that the answer I chose was technically correct considering the wording of the question. However, they couldn't give me credit for it because if I knew what they meant to write I probably would have answered differently! I passed the test anyway so I'm just going to try not to raise my BP too much.
Something is good though - they allow you to get a temporary result the very same day and at the same time have a look at the questions you got wrong.
