...reading one of the local berlin newspapers last week (article
here) about air berlin and its founder i gathered the following:
- the pilots are worked to the limit, so much that the german pilot's union suggest that this could jeopardize flight safety...
- joachim hunold, the company founder and owner, was portrayed as a hard man with a o'leary-like hatred for the idea of pilot unionization...
- the pilots are so scared of him that some of them have joined the union in secret and acts as secret union informants about all the safety breaches happening...
now how much of this is news and how much is rumour?
