Hey I agree with JP , the most important thing at the end is to save everybody and that's what the 406 driver did in Arusha .
Also guys you have to remember that the 406 is not a FAR/JAR 25 certified airplane so it will not meet the climb requirement on the second segment , etc ...
Even if the 406 is a great plane I recall during my "type rating" that the climb performance at N-1 was not that impressive at mid weight and sea level , so if you consider the density alitude of Arusha during 30 degrees celcius day I do not think that anybody can affirm that he would have been able to climb.
