I do work for AA. Airbus and AirAsia announced this to staff quite a while ago.
I have had a couple of chin wags with Tony and seems like Airbus gave us a seriouly good deal. 5 years free maintence and parts. Plus the aircraft are cheaper than Boeings (this info. is rumour from inside AA... So it is not gospel). Figures
As for the Parc Aviation lot. I doubt many of these guys are going to be around longer than two years. Get the hours and bug out! That's the idea
Airbuses phased in over 4 years and first one arrives in july 2005. Type ratings provide by Airbus... How nice!!!
