Don't know why some people post the crap they do on here, someone puts a serious question up, and responses like the one from itchy, don't do any favours. To be honest giner nut has the right idea. RICE is the way to go. Whatever you do, dont go weightlifting and undertaking everysport imaginable as one suggested, best option is to rest, maybe apply some deep heat to warm the muscle, therefore making it more aggreable to movement and gently do some rotation exercises to keep it as supple as possible. This slow movement will only aid recovery by increasing warmth and circulation to the affected area and prevent you to some extent from injuring it further. Apart from that, just a matter of rest im afraid, pulled muscle is nothing major, obviously depending on ow old you are, will affect the time it takes you to recover.
