What impressed me most from the figures in the article above is the volum: 27 main deck pallets, plus the belly, makes for a decent amount of space when you consider the performance economics of the aircraft.
Anyone care to comment on the feasability of -300F? Extra volume for not much less payload....?
Future of 400F will be intersting. Not sure NCD alone will justify further sales. It will have to be a payload & volume thing I suspect, or it days are numbered. But surely converted B744's are the way to go now? Half price of a B777F for slightly better performance...
