RICE
R- Rest - for 48 hrs then get it moving, gently.
I- Ice - Careful not to freeze the skin. A bag of peas in a towel
for short periods only.
C - Compression- bit difficult with a shoulder joint, but handy
to remember for when you pull your knee.
E - Elevation - sit in an upright chair. Use pillows to support when
lying down.
Take 8 paracetamol and 3 ibuprofen (400mg) a day, but read the packet first.
Make sure you warm up and warm down before and after execising.
