Umm...don't quote me on this - I'm not really qualified to answer as I'm not based in Zambia, but every time I go there and chat to pilots and operators there it seems to me that Zambia has just had a booming season. Operators ordering new aircraft, pilots logging big hours etc... Things probably winding down about now, but I'm sure Zambia is expecting big things for next year.
My guess is though, unlike Maun, operators require pilots with 1000 hrs + and preferably with turbine and/or twin ratings.
