As I read it operating profit is that shown before such silly deductions as tax, liabilities and any other trivial costs such as, oh, let's say fines imposed by courts of law.
How long will they last if they privatise?
Well that's the question I asked earlier and so far the general consensus among those i've spoken to seems to be "not long".
