My wife and I have been to our mortgage provider,and have cleared our one and only credit card.With our savings and home equity and with me doing another job while on strike,we would survive for about six months before starting to hurt.Be honest with your mortgage provider and other financial institutions and they can come up with some interesting ways of helping you.Also talk to your accountant...they too can be helpful.
If we do go on strike,don`t bury your head in the sand as far as financial commitments are concerned.Credit/mortgage providers need to be kept in the loop
