Right guys as far as the whole thing is concerned I will give you the lowdown as far as I have heard it up till now and tomorrow I will post again once I have a more official word (as much as is possible at BA ... I am meeting with one of the management for some or other business chat)
WW LGW and EOG will combine to form one fleet along the lines of the old Mid-Fleet (I believe it will be called OneFleet and not MidFleet but same idea!)
Options that will be open to crew at WW LGW will be one of the follows :
1) Stay and join the OneFleet on new contract (so new Terms and Conditions ... in other words less pay!)
2) Take severance.
3) Move to WW LHR under current contract.
Having said all that this is as yet ONLY a proposal and is not set in stone. And even if it does go ahead (probably looks like it) then we are looking at a time-frame of between 18-24 months (could be less who knows!?!)
Anyways as I said at the beginning I will be getting a more official word (as can be really) so standby for more info.
